On Monday, seven of us gathered to unify two souls on the evening of the summer solstice and full moon. You guys, this is the kind of thing dreams are made of.
We stood where the land meets the vast blue waters on the east banks of Lake Manitoba. Marisa and Noah exchanged vows and eloped in the most intimate, beautiful ceremony I think I have ever seen. The waves crashed next to them. Sara, their friend (and officiant) lit ceremonial sage and performed a spiritual drumming song. It was all sorts of romance and magic.
This summer's solstice coincided with the Strawberry moon - a once in a lifetime occurrence! It is said to be a time of intensity, renewal and great potential.
I am so beyond happy for Marisa and Noah and their three beautiful little girls.
Elopements are a beautiful thing, people. Sweet, simple and intimate. The BEST.
