The Most Magical Black and White Film Lightroom Preset

Hey friends!

Today I wanted to chat with you about one of my favorite topics: presets! There's just something magical about the way a preset can transform an image to tell an entirely different story. I love presets that make my images look like film - photographer are crazy for this one in particular that I’ve created called Super Grainy Magic Black & White Film Preset for Lightroom Mobile and Desktop.

I know that shooting actual film isn't always practical or feasible for everyone, but that doesn't mean you can't get that same dreamy film look in your digital photos. That's where my Super Grainy Magic Black & White Film Preset comes in!

This preset is designed to give your photos that beautiful grainy texture and contrast that you typically see in black and white film photography. It's perfect for portraits, landscapes, and just about any other type of photography you can imagine.

So, how do you use this magical preset? It's actually super easy! First, make sure you have Adobe Lightroom installed on your computer. Once you do, simply open up the Lightroom app and import the photo you want to edit. I also loooove using this preset for engagement sessions, elopement editing and it’s so beautiful for editing black and white film-style wedding photos.

Next, scroll over to the "Presets" tab on the right side of the screen and click on "User Presets." From there, you should see the Super Grainy Magic Black & White Film Preset listed. Simply click on it and watch as your photo is transformed into a beautiful work of art!

Of course, you can always tweak the preset settings to your liking, but I think you'll find that it looks pretty darn good straight out of the box.
